Business Development Manager – Architectural SaaS

Mid to Senior Levels Considered - Salary Negotiable - based on experience - plus Commission.

Our client is on the lookout for a new business professional to work on exploring and securing new and exciting new business opportunities in order to complement an already impressive existing client list they work with.

Ideally you will come from or have experience within a SaaS Technology or Architectural sector with experience in software sales and preferably within the architectural software sales environment.

Our client is offering a fantastic disruptive technology solution for the Built environment architectural services sector.

Your role

You’ll be instrumental in developing new business opportunities for our client, working directly with senior team members and reporting directly to the managing director.

The client is looking to engage with and develop new and exciting business relationships through a range of techniques. You’ll be tasked with making contact with new prospective clients and relevant existing firms, following up on initial introductions with a view to opening up the right channels for engaging those new business opportunities.

You’ll work closely with the marketing manager, researching and targeting through individually tailored methods for each prospect, working along side other team member strategies, supporting them where possible. 

You’ll be responsible for lead generation, working in a collaborative, open and transparent way with other senior team members, working together to find the best way to present the company. The client is keen to maintain and uphold their impeccably good reputation within their specialist sectors.

The client is looking for fantastic communication, skills including writing of promotional communications, pitch proposals and other supporting sales materials, all going towards a comprehensive business developing strategy.

You’ll be responsible too for the CRM, updating client and prospective client details as the client base evolves.

The client is looking for a client focused consultative approach to business marketing and development, someone who understands what’s expected when it comes to conducting new promotional campaigns, introductions and instructions.

To conclude you’ll need a good command of sales techniques, able to innovate when it comes to strategy, accurately keeping records on the company CRM for all to see. You’ll come from a similar environment within a business or marketing background and a proven track record of generating sales opportunities with a recuring revenue model. You will come with a degree education gained in marketing, business or be suitably experienced in the development of new business. Having a proven background to demonstrate your ability and have worked across more than one specialist sector.
