Job Description

Content Strategist

Do you have a knack for turning dry jargon into enticing copy? Are you a seasoned storyteller for brands? A thorough researcher and a pro at Google Analytics? Have a strong grip on the digital media landscape and its fickle ways? Then you’ll be interested to hear about this new Content Strategist role for a lively, creative, award-winning team who have been going from strength to strength. For them, you’ll be working with world-renowned global brands and smaller businesses in the area.

As Content Strategist you’ll be spearheading a plan to develop further our client’s practice, inspiring their strategy team with new creative ideas that will make them even more influential and competitive. We’re looking for someone who can make a website stand out with snappy content, plus get them noticed in trade press. Digital is in your blood: you’ll create up to date, relevant social media copy that generates traffic for our client’s channels. You’ll be both a keen researcher of digital trends and a sixth-sense for how to engage with different channels, and can communicate ideas to the client in a way that’s both accurate and genuinely exciting. You’re a natural problem solver and constantly seek solutions to brand or design issues throughout a campaign, and are comfortable taking the lead on researching client target markets and sectors.

Your creative strategy solutions generate excellent results, which is why some knowledge of Google Analytics and Google Data Studio would be integral. You’ll also be able to assess current client sites and provide invaluable feedback of existing content strategies to the client.

What we’re after is a positive force who is a reliable, enthusiastic, upbeat team player who is constantly researching new trends in technology and implementing new ideas. When the going gets tough you don’t crack under pressure, and you understand the core tenets of project management.

We’re looking for someone who is available to start immediately. The position is full-time (40 hours per week), and the salary is c£30,000 per annum.
