Here you’ll get the opportunity to flex those search muscles and show us just how much your mastery is worth. The audience is UK and International so I guess your work will be tested to it’s limits. The purpose of your existence is increase traffic to the websites our client runs ultimately to grow revenue. Of course, you will be a part of a wider marketing team, so you’ll have the support and backing of everyone’s efforts all working in a collaborative and meaningful way. A team effort.
Your role as the Search Marketing Executive will cover both paid and unpaid media activity including paid search, affiliates and organic. This is a hands-on on the tools job which will require a passionate search consultant who really enjoys their specialism and enjoys watching the results deliver. Of course, with any new sector there will be a learning curve, so you’ll need to be a driven and quick to learn individual, someone able to plan and implement as well as continually optimise the PPC and shopper campaigns they devise, that’s for all channels paid and otherwise so includes SEO, SEM, PPC, Shopping Affiliate and the wider team efforts too. All to make sure the team meets their revenue and other goals and objectives.
Your experience will agency or client side will need to be from on online marketing environment. You’ll be in your comfort zone across each stage of the job including PPC, SEO, SEM, Google Analytics, Google Shopping, Google Adwords, Affiliate Marketing, Facebook Advertising, all backed up with strong mathematical and analytical skills for the purposes of reporting and refining future campaign’s and spend. Your work will be conducted within the most up-to-date search engine best practice following Google Webmaster guidelines.
Of course you will come with a Degree, a demonstrated career to date, superb communication skills – written and spoken – and the ability to maintain relationships with suppliers. This is a part of a wider marketing function so your skills will be drawn in and assisting in other areas may be required. A definite team function.
