Job Description

Site Project Manager / Retail and New Build

I’m currently on the lookout for a Site Project Manager or Design and Build Project Manager.

You will have a Construction or New Building site management background and have had experience managing projects either in new-build interior fit-outs or Retail fit-outs, any of these skills and experience sets are of interest.

 

Your Role

You will be responsible for undertaking site surveys across a variety of client projects. Each project survey details are communicated back to your team as required. Reviewing and producing schedules and programmes of work, whilst defining responsibilities where required, keeping teams on site and in the office up to speed at each stage of the project along the way.

You will be required to arrange and host client meetings up until project completion. Each project will be unique and will require some reporting of details back to your team in order to keep track of progress and aid resolving issues, all standard stuff, much of which will require documenting with photo’s and simple drawing where necessary.

You will need a grasp of material’s and costs associated in order to assist internal teams with estimating and scoping of projects and final accounts for billing. In addition, you will be used to creating and maintaining a good rapport with various site installation teams, managers and sub-contractors as well as external suppliers.

This role will require a driven self-started with good time management and communication skills as you will be working completely autonomously for the majority of the time.

This role will require a good level of written and spoken communication skills and a good level of computer literacy for email communications and having good basic numeracy, use of Office programs such as Word, Excel and Outlook will be required.

In addition have any or all of the following is advantageous H&S qualifications an advantage  (CSCS /  SSSTS / SMSTS / PASMA / Temporary Works) (an up-to-date CSCS card will be required)
